    Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have just ordered 3 $100 gift certificates and 5 $50 gift certificates to Restaurant.com for only $44! I'll use these for Christmas, birthday and wedding gifts. This way the recipient can choose the restaurant AND there is no expiration date!

    This is so great!

    Are there any rules for this, besides most restaurants requiring a minimum purchase of $35? Seems too good to be true! Smile

    Each restaurant has their own rules for the gift certificates. Some require a minimum number of diners - 2 or 4 people in the party. Most exclude alcohol. Needless to say you should always tip on the full amount of the bill, not the reduced amount.

    They are a great deal if there are good restaurants to choose from in your area.

    I had someone question the "no expiration date" that I mentioned in my comment. Here's the info: According to the terms and conditions on their website if you purchase a Restaurant.com Store Credit Certificate (which is what I bought) there isn't an expiration date for the recipient to go online and choose the restaurant-specific certificate that they want to redeem their Restaurant.com certificate for. If you ordered a restaurant-specific certificate from Restaurant.com, then there is an expiration date.

    So, instead of clicking on "Find Restaurant" to find a restaurant-specific certficate, you can click on "Give a Gift" to choose to purchase a Restaurant.com Store Credit Certificate. Thanks again MariRDH!
