Successful CVS trip

June 18th, 2008 at 02:06 am

I made my second trip with my brand-spankin' new CVS card today.

I spent $18.43 and received $19.97 back in CVS Extra Care Bucks (ECB)! WooHoo! Big Grin

Needless to say I am a little bit excited about having come out ahead on this trip. It's not too often you go into a store and come out with merchandise and more "credit" than you went in with...well, legally anyway!!! *LOL*

Here is what I got today:
(2) Listerine Smart Rinse
(1) 2-pk Oral-B Cross Action toothbrushes
(2) Oral-B Power toothbrushes
(2) bottles of Coke
and I made a $1 donation to ALS Therapy Alliance.

I had (2) coupons for $1 off the Smart Rinse, the Coke was on sale BOGOF, I had a coupon for BOGOF on the power toothbrushes, and I used $3.98 in ECB I earned last week. Hip-Hip-Hooray!!!

I have got to get into this. I went to slickdeals.net, but got confused. How do the ECB bucks work? Are they redeemable at a later date?

The Smart Rinse is a great moneymaker (plus a GREAT item for helping learn); Check around, you maybe able to get two more coupons. Have you checked the bottom of your Receipt? I found out the limit on the Smart Rinse is actually 3 or 4 depending on the Region of the country. The bandaids I found to be a limit of Three, not Two in my Area!

    Good luck!!

@ Snoopy....the ECB are redeemable until up to one month after the day they print out and then they expire.

Each ECB for an item prints out out separately so if you buy toothpaste and lotion for example then you will have and ECB receipt for the toothpaste and one for the lotion so you can use them separately or together if you wish. they each have a barcode that can be scanned.
