A very successful CVS run today. I really planned everything out so that I could spend the very least amount possible out of pocket (oop). That perfect plan didn't quite work out, as it would have had me paying about $2 oop, but I still did extremely well.
Here is what I got:
(10) Dawn dish liquid
(2) CVS pantiliners
(1) Playtex tampons
(4) Sure deodorants
(2) Always pads
(2) Pert Plus shampoos
(1) Trident Xtra Care gum
I think I made out like a bandit this week. What do you guys think?
Look at all I got for $4.70!!!

No, really, good job. I signed up for a CVS card and then realized my city doesn't have one

But actually, come to think of it, I am not a cooker. Neither is baseball boy. We were the epitimy of the couple that eats out all the time. We no longer do that, but we still dont cook. We just eat sandwiches, microwave pizzas, ext.
So maybe thats why a bottle of Dawn lasts us so long.

My mom always scoffs when she sees the commercials with people putting dirty dishes into the dishwasher, without even rinsing them off and then it comes out squeaky clean. She thinks its trickery. False advertising, if you will.

Two ideas to help make your dish liquid last longer. You may already do/know this but thought I'd mention them.
First, drop a little bit of dish liquid in the sink and fill your whole sink with warm water. You should be able to wash all your dishes in just this one sink-full of sudsy water.
Second, read the bottle of dish liquid. I know with this Dawn I bought, it is "concentrated" and you only need a tiny bit to make a lot of suds. So a little goes a long way.
Hope this is helpful!
