Moving Forward

March 10th, 2008 at 01:39 am

I am feeling a little bit better since my last post. Thank you again to all who posted support and encouragement for me! I truly appreciate it. Smile

I received a check in the mail yesterday for some side work I do as a mail decoy - $58.50 for 3 months of work so not a lot but a nice little "extra". I took that money along with $40 I had leftover from my "allowance" last paycheck, $54 I cut from our budget this month and the interest earned on my ING checking account last month and made a payment to the 0% CC - a total extra payment of $153.82 that will go through tomorrow.

Updated 0% Credit Card Total = $8,368.18

Okay, I googled it (don't know why I didn't just do that at first) and now I know. I'd like to find a legit company doing that. Smile

There are two mail decoy companies that I know of - US Monitor and Hauser. It is kind of a pain because you will get a lot of junk mail in strange names (this is the mail you need to record for them), and you need to be able to put it into the computer everyday - so no long vacations. But I like it. If you are interested, google each company and put in an application. They hire by zip code. Good luck!
